Who We Are and What We Believe

Discover how we bridge the gap between home and school to foster a nurturing educational environment for every child.

Our Founder: Dr. Nakiesha Sinclair

THE INDIVIDUAL
I am a relationship builder who leads through relationships. I firmly believe that the building leader sets the tone for the school culture. I am fair, consistent and I am who I say I am. I have always held the belief that every day is a new chance to get it right. I apply this belief when interacting with students, teachers, support staff and parents. I am an advocate for my school, my students, my teachers and staff, and my parents because their success begins with how I view and value them.

THE INSTRUCTIONAL LEADER
As an effective school leader, I believe data drives everything we do, and being data literate is paramount. I practice responding promptly and honestly to performance concerns. I acknowledge this can be difficult and uncomfortable. However, I am committed to ensuring my students receive quality research-based instruction. As an Instructional leader, I continuously look for ways to support and develop poorly performing teachers. I believe support and feedback should be honest, fair, constructive, and motivating for all teachers whether their performance is exemplary or needs improvement.

THE INFLUENCER
I do not take my position as a school leader lightly. I know how important it is for students, teachers and parents to see themselves in me. Someone once told me that I make everyone feel like my best friend. That spoke volumes to me because, that means there is some part of me that every person can relate to. The teachers and staff, parents, my colleagues, students with and without behavior issues all know that I love them and that doesn’t change. I believe in seeing the whole person.
